A Book End to the Global War on Terrorism
Osama bin Laden has been killed by military action. Though I am not delusional that this will the war on terrorism, it is a significant milestone, the physical center of gravity and progenitor of Al Quada. Justice.
I'm not sure if an complex soft system can have a center of gravity. It is certainly a debatable topic for discourse. Your observation that Osama's death will not end the war on terrorism or even the war against al Queda is in conflict with the classic definition by Clausewitz: "the hub of all power and movement on which everything depends." I would argue that you recognize Osama is not the CoG by this definition. And if he is not, than what or who is that CoG?
